It’s something to roll the tweets. You probably attach the paper to the clip then you put the round part on something that spins and then you get the paper rolled!

My guess is that the spool part is to wrap prayers around the hub until it is full. Then the tines will be stuffed in the crevices of the Temple wall. This will make The Kotels job more efficient placing prayers into the wall!

Paper roller! Helps to automate the rolling of the paper that the prayers are written on and to make them as tight (small) as possible.

I sew, and I think I recognize the 2 bobbins. you normally would put this on top of the sewing machine (as if to refill the bobbin with more thread). For you, Alon, you could verytightly wrap the tweeted paper between the clips! What an ingenious idea! I have brilliant friends.

Looks like an autowinder for the printed tweets. Now all you need is a two line printer and you won’t have to cut the paper… just print a continuous roll!
